Labour Sponsored Funds
The phase-out period for the Labour Sponsored Investment
Fund (LSIF) Tax Credit has been extended to the end of 2011
(from 2010). The government proposes to extend the phase-out by:
Keep 15 %
provincial tax credit to end of 2009
Lower rate to 10
% for 2010 tax season
Lower rate to 5 % for 2011 tax season
Eliminate credit
after 2011 tax season
